Just a few months ago, Mrs. Ogor Tony-Obuh spearheaded the renovation of the Ali-Agwa Community Health Centre, bringing much-needed relief to residents of the local community and the broader Agbor metropolis.

Prior to her intervention, health workers had repeatedly appealed to the local government authority for repairs, but their requests fell on deaf ears.

The situation only changed when the community brought the facility’s deplorable condition to the attention of Mrs. Obuh, the candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ika South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

Her track record of responsive intervention extends beyond healthcare. In Abavo, she sponsored the total restoration of power to Ekwuoma quarter after fallen utility poles had plunged the community into darkness for nearly four months.

While residents continue to testify to her public spirit, investigations by this reporter reveal that Mrs. Obuh’s philanthropic drive is far from a recent development.

Over thirteen years ago, she donated a solar-powered borehole to the Oki community, resolving a longstanding water crisis that had forced families to trek long distances for basic domestic needs.

Speaking with an Oki resident, Mr. Dumnudi noted that public service remains an enduring hallmark of the Obuh family.

He emphasized that Mrs. Obuh has faithfully sustained this legacy of service following the passing of her late husband.

Further highlighting her development efforts, Mrs. Obuh recently donated an electric transformer to the DDPA Estate—another major milestone in her community support initiatives.

Speaking during the official handover ceremony, Barr. Joseph Ojobu, a resident of DDPA Estate described her track record as a benchmark for authentic grassroots leadership.

As electors evaluate candidates based on tangible antecedents, Mrs. Ogor Tony-Obuh’s sustained history of public impact sets a distinct benchmark ahead of the 2027 polls.
