Delta Decides

Comrade Victor Ojei, popularly known as “Wong Box” and the Action Peoples Party (APP) senatorial candidate for Delta North, has stated that he will not pursue the creation of Anioma State if elected to the Senate.

Ojei made this assertion during an exclusive interview with newsmen in Asaba, Delta State.

The APP candidate noted that pursuing the creation of Anioma State is not what the people need at this moment.

He emphasized that the true aspiration of Anioma sons and daughters is to secure strong and effective representation for Delta North at the National Assembly.

Ojei pledged to provide the best representation possible for the people of the district.

“A new Anioma is possible. I am going to be the voice my people need,” Ojei said. “I have always spoken for my people, and I was even sent to prison because I stood up for them.”

He revealed that his refusal to compromise led to his resignation as Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor.

Comrade Ojei further shared that the people of Delta North demonstrated their support by purchasing his nomination form while he was incarcerated.

“They asked me to represent them. They bought my form for me, and I filled it out while in prison,” he said. “I will give them the best representation and work to reactivate beneficial bills passed in previous legislative sessions.”
