Delta Decides
Comrade Victor Ojei, fondly known as “Wong Box” and the senatorial candidate for the Action Peoples Party (APP), has declared confidence in defeating former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming Delta North senatorial election.
Ojei asserted that the people of Delta North were firmly behind his candidacy, pointing to his strong grassroots support as the key to his victory.
Reflecting on his past, Ojei noted that his five separate imprisonments were a direct result of his unrelenting advocacy for the public.
He emphasized that effective legislation requires standing up for the constituency, identifying community challenges, and working closely with relevant stakeholders to deliver real solutions to the people of Delta North.
When asked how he plans to overcome established political figures like Okowa and Ochei, Ojei maintained that his path to victory was clear, noting that the electorate desires genuine representation.
Pressed on which candidate he would back if he were not in the race, Ojei dismissed the premise, stating he remains far more qualified than any of his opponents.
Addressing his legislative priorities, Ojei highlighted security as his top focus.
“I will use modern technology to combat insecurity in Delta North,” Ojei said.
He further revealed plans to deploy various security frameworks, including a community-driven initiative built around a dedicated WhatsApp group titled “See Something, Say Something” to encourage real-time reporting of threats.
He opined that anybody who intelligence would be rewarded to encourage people to always speak up
