Delta State, Nigeria — Emerging reports indicate that Hon. Odigwe Hunkamma, the Executive Chairman of Ika North East Local Government Area, has been rated as the best-performing local government council chairman in Delta State.
The recognition has been widely celebrated across the state.
A review of his administration reveals significant infrastructural development and high-impact projects executed across the 14 federal wards of Ika North East.
Beyond several kilometers of newly constructed roads, key legacy projects attributing to his stellar performance include: The modern Executive Complex,The Upper Efeizomor Road development, An ultra-modern Civic Centre.
Speaking on the Chairman’s achievements, Mr. Justice, an aide to the Chairman, noted that residents have experienced widespread jubilation and satisfaction since Hon. Hunkamma assumed office.
He added that the Chairman has demonstrated exceptional competence, giving Ika North East a complete facelift.
Corroborating these sentiments, Mr. Innocent Okubor described Hon. Hunkamma as “a round peg in a round hole,” praising his democratic approach to governance and his deep understanding of the needs and yearnings of the people
In the same vein, Mr. John Onyeacholem expressed confidence that Hon. Hunkamma would exceed the expectations of both supporters and critics before the end of his tenure.
He also highlighted the administration’s social welfare initiatives, noting that several vulnerable individuals have been placed on the council’s payroll to help cushion the impact of cucurrent economic reforms
