In line with its civic duty to inform the public and amplify community voices, Delta Decides interviewed one of the leading contenders for the Delta North Senatorial seat, Comrade Victor Ojei, popularly known as “Wong Box.”
Ojei, who serves as the leader of the Activist for Young Nigerians Organization, disclosed that his decision to enter the senatorial race was driven strictly by public demand.
He revealed that his nomination form was purchased for him by supporters while he was detained in prison.
According to him, Delta North youths approached him directly due to his track record of frontline advocacy.
He stressed that standing up for the people remains the primary responsibility of any genuine lawmaker.
Ojei emphasized his commitment to identifying and documenting the specific needs of Delta Northerners while engaging critical stakeholders to deliver sustainable solutions.
He added that consistent feedback and accountability to the constituency form the foundation of effective legislative representation.
