The Coordinator of Delta Decides, Comrade Darlington Okonma, has added another year to his age.
The media personality, who also serves as the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ika Chapter, celebrated his birthday today, August 20, 2026, alongside family, friends, and associates at his Agbor residence.
While expressing his gratitude, Comrade Okonma thanked God Almighty for His mercies, describing the colorful celebration as a token of appreciation for divine grace.
Speaking after a prayer session, Mr. Shadrack Egbonimali described Okonma as an “intellectual powerhouse.” He praised Okonma’s media prowess, noting that it reflects a professional who has not only mastered his domain but expanded into related fields.
According to Egbonimali, Okonma’s ability to forge new connections between ideas has enabled him to innovate and shape his field in profound ways.
He further noted that Comrade Okonma has distinguished himself by building public resilience through effective information dissemination.
“I am using this opportunity to wish Mr. Darlington Okonma a happy birthday and many happy returns,” Mr. Egbonimali added.
