The House of Assembly Ika South Constituency candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress NDC, Mrs Ogor Tony-Obuh has assured the Obi of Abavo, His Royal Majesty Uche Irenuwa II that the love he showed late Obuh would not go unrewarded
Mrs. Ogor Tony-Obuh made the assurance during a royal visit recently at the Obi’s Palace in Abavo
She noted that, Abavo will experience a new look and also enjoy the dividend of Democracy
Ogor Tony-Obuh reiterated that the mutual relationship enjoyed by the two communities would continue, assuring that a candidate without a godfather, every Penny allocated to Ika South would be fully accounted for
She recounted how fallen poles in Ekhuma and had kept the community without light for months, and her efforts in raising the needed funds that to fix it
She noted that Abavo Community has something peculiar and must be given adequate attention when she assumes office as the Delta State House Of Assembly
She reiterated that if we as a people don’t change things, our children will ask us questions
Ogor Tony-Obuh reiterated that if we allow this current government to continue, the next four years would be hell
She hinted that the reason our children are running abroad was because live is too difficult for them here in Nigeria
“ This is why we need to change things. If we don’t want our children to ask us questions.”
She maintained that the dream that Tony Obuh had to turn Ika South to mini London has been resurrected in her, claiming that by God’s grace, the dream has come to stay
