ASABA — Chief Dr. (Mrs.) Mercy Eguriase Sule, JP, has declared that the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) was fully prepared to take over Delta State in the 2027 general elections.
Sule, the NNPP candidate for the Ethiope East House of Assembly seat, made the statement during a recent media parley.
She asserted that the current economic hardships faced by citizens were reasons for voters to completely reject the ruling All Progressives Congress APC
Speaking with enthusiasm, the Urhobo-born philanthropist and Diaspora Ambassador noted that the NNPP has built the necessary momentum to assume leadership of the state, claiming that Deltans have already fed up with the ruling party
She urged residents to push for real change, stating that voting out the APC-led government was their best option for a better future.
Sule further noted that the path to re-election of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his allies were slim, pointing to widespread public dissatisfaction with what she described as years of misrule.
Chief Mercy maintained that her primary motivation for entering the House of Assembly race was to prioritize the welfare of her constituents in Ethiope East, promising responsive and community-driven representation
