​AGBOR — Waves of jubilation and excitement swept through Agbor the headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area, following the successful screening of Mrs. Ogor Tony-Obuh, a leading aspirant contesting to represent the good people of Ika South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

​Mrs. Tony-Obuh, an accomplished accountant by training and a dedicated retired civil servant, brings a wealth of administrative experience to the legislative race.

She is the wife of the late Tony Obuh, the prominent 2015 gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

​Speaking with journalists shortly after clearing the screening exercise under the New Democratic Congress (NDC), Mrs. Tony-Obuh expressed profound gratitude to her supporters and reaffirmed her commitment to redefining representation in the constituency.

She noted that her entry into the race is fueled by a vision to fundamentally change the legislative narrative for the people of Ika South.

​She emphasized that her primary mission was to deliver tangible and much-needed transformation, hinting that her approach to governance will be thoroughly all-encompassing, transparent, and inclusive of all segments of the constituency.
