ASABA, DELTA STATE – The management of Stegma Media Company, publishers of Delta Decides, hereby alerts the public and relevant security agencies to the targeted harassment and death threats directed at one of our veteran members, Mr. Chukwuma Agboje.
Following our recent reportage on senatorial governance, Obiemeke Moses, a media aide to the Ika North East Local Government Chairman, Hon. Monday Odigwe, has actively endangered Mr. Agboje.
By circulating personal details and issuing direct threats, Mr. Moses has demonstrated a blatant disregard for the freedom of the press and the safety of a private citizen.
It is important to state here that decisions regarding our publications are made by the Editorial Board, not by any single individual and to inform the public that Delta Decides was founded in 2012 and with the sole aim of upholding the principles of accountability.
By this, we will remain resilient and will not be intimidated into silence by political aides like Obiemeke Moses or local government actors.
We are by this press release officially notifying the public and the authorities that Obiemeke Moses shall be held strictly accountable for any harm, harassment, or injury involving Mr. Chukwuma Agboje, his family, or his professional associates.
