​Renowned humanitarian and CEO of the Bemys Foundation, Chief Dr. (Mrs.) Mercy Eguriase Sule, JP, has officially entered the race for the Ethiope East Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, picking up her expression of interest form under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

​Speaking to journalists shortly after securing the form, Dr. Sule pledged to deliver vibrant, impactful, and people-centered legislative representation come 2027.

​She declared that the era of passive representation for Ethiope East was over, positioning herself as the catalyst for change who will effectively champion the constituency’s interests and attract state government intervention.

​According to the global philanthropist, her political ambition is a direct response to the yearnings of the people of Ethiope East, who desire a strong, compassionate leader to represent them at the state assembly.
