The Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Iyede Ward 2, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, have stepped up grassroots mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming elections, with members resolving to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) structure at the unit and ward levels.

The resolution was reached during a sensitisation meeting held at the country home of the Ward Coordinator, Elder Jonathan Okpako Umukoro, JP, in Okpaigie-Iyede.

The meeting was attended by the 20 unit coordinators and members of the 10-man ward management committee, who deliberated on strategies to reposition the group for effective grassroots mobilisation and ensure victory for the APC in the forthcoming polls.

Speaking during the meeting, Umukoro urged members to remain committed to the objectives of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors by intensifying voter education and mobilising eligible voters across the ward.

He stressed the importance of unity, dedication and regular engagement with members at the grassroots, noting that sustained mobilisation would be critical to the success of the APC in the elections.

The meeting resolved that unit coordinators should hold monthly meetings to review their activities and assess their performance at both the unit and ward levels, with a view to improving coordination and strengthening the group’s operational structure.

Members also unanimously agreed to embark on an aggressive sensitisation campaign across all units in the ward, encouraging residents to support and vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors reaffirmed their commitment to expanding the party’s grassroots support base and working collectively to ensure the APC records a resounding victory at the polls.
