The Otu Nmunne, an Agbor indigenous pressure group, has officially endorsed Mrs. Ogor Tony-Obuh, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Ika South House of Assembly seat.
Mrs. Tony-Obuh, who recently renovated the Aliagawa Community Health Centre, received the endorsement during an enlarged meeting of Otu Nmunne held in Agbor, Delta State.
Speaking at the event, the NDC candidate stated it was important to formally notify the group of her ambition, emphasizing that their support and prayers were critical to her success.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Ogwu highlighted the contributions of the candidate’s late brother-in-law, Hon. Ben Obuh, to the Agbor community.
He stressed that supporting Mrs. Tony-Obuh was a collective responsibility for the group, calling on all sons and daughters of Agbor to queue behind her candidacy.
Similarly, Chief Iyetor, the Dein Achoni Ikpokpoh of Agbor Kingdom, echoed those sentiments.
He noted that both the late Hon. Ben Obuh and Mrs. Tony-Obuh’s late husband were integral members of the Otu Nmunne family. Reaffirming the group’s commitment to her victory just as he urged the people of Agbor to rally solidly behind her
