Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said the City Boy Movement (CBM) is committed to promoting national development, youth empowerment, and community service across Nigeria.
Speaking during the inauguration of the movement’s Directorate of Socials in Abuja, Seyi Tinubu described the group as a platform dedicated to supporting the country’s progress through initiatives that positively impact young people and local communities. He urged members to remain focused on projects that foster unity, leadership, and nation-building.
He said the movement was established not just as a political organisation but as a vehicle for encouraging civic responsibility, volunteerism, and youth participation in national development. According to him, members should continue to champion programmes that improve education, entrepreneurship, skills development, and social welfare.
Seyi Tinubu also commended members of the City Boy Movement for their commitment and encouraged them to expand their activities across the country. He stressed that meaningful development requires collaboration, innovation, and sustained engagement by young Nigerians.
The event was attended by members and supporters of the movement, who reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the organisation’s objectives and supporting initiatives aimed at empowering youths and contributing to national growth.
