Aspirant to the Oshimili South Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Barrister Anthony Nsugbe has officially taken a significant step in his political journey by picking up his nomination and expression of interest forms to contest for a seat representing Oshimili South.
Nsugbe obtained the forms from the state secretariat of his party, signalling his readiness to participate in the forthcoming electoral process. Holding both documents, he expressed confidence in his vision and commitment to delivering purposeful representation.
In a statement shortly after the exercise, Nsugbe assured the people of Oshimili South that his candidacy would usher in a new era of responsive and people-centred leadership.
He emphasised that his mission is to make a “positive difference” through policies and actions that directly impact the lives of constituents.
“I am stepping forward with a clear sense of responsibility and a strong desire to serve. Oshimili South deserves representation that listens, understands, and delivers tangible results. I believe that government must work together with law and commerce to improve the living standards and experiences of the people.
He further called on party stakeholders and constituents to support his aspiration, promising inclusiveness, transparency, and effective advocacy if elected.
Nsugbe’s entry into the race is expected has add momentum to the political landscape in Oshimili South, as he concluded his first phase of consultations, as preparations gradually intensify ahead of the party primaries.
