UTE-OGBEJE — In a major political move signaling early preparations for the 2027 general elections, an All Progressives Congress (APC) coalition led by Hon. Alex Ikpeazu, alongside key leaders of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ika Federal Constituency, held a closed-door meeting today, August 13, 2026.
The strategic gathering took place at the Ute-Ogbeje residence of Hon. Ikpeazu in Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State.
The meeting was attended by presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi, mama pee alongside prominent constituency stakeholders.
Expressing optimism about victory in 2027, Mr. Obi thanked party faithful and supporters for their steadfast commitment and warm reception.
He assured members that the NDC leadership was taking all necessary steps to secure a decisive win in the upcoming elections.
Also addressing the gathering, Mrs. Ogor Tony-Obuh, the NDC House of Assembly candidate for Ika South, voiced strong confidence in the party’s prospects.
She cited widespread economic hardship and persistent insecurity across the country, and criticized the ruling APC for administrative ineptitude.
Mrs. Tony-Obuh reaffirmed the resolve of voters across Ika Federal Constituency to vote “5/5” for all NDC candidates in the upcoming election, pledging total Ika Federal Constituency support for Mr. Obi’s
presidential bid.
