Comrade Bob Okunoja, a respected researcher, businessman, and grassroots mobilizer from Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, has made a compelling call for a total reset of the state’s political economy.

In a bold declaration during a press interaction in his hometown of Owa-Alero, Okunoja asserted that Delta State’s socio-political and economic trajectory has stalled and now requires urgent intervention.

Speaking with a sense of urgency and deep concern, Okunoja emphasized that the Ika Federal Constituency and, by extension, the entire Delta State, was at a crossroads, warning that continued complacency under the dominance of traditional political parties, the PDP and APC would only deepen the challenges plaguing the people.

“We must awaken from this cycle where a few political actors dictate our destiny without consulting the very people they claim to represent,”

The Ika Born Businessman noted that “It was time to interrogate our political alignments and make bold decisions based on the welfare of our people which he stated would not be predicated on the whims of career politicians.

He pointed to the African Action Congress (AAC) as a credible alternative, describing it as the only political movement presently offering a transformative and people-centered agenda.

According to Comrade Okunoja, the AAC’s ideology was rooted in revolutionary governance, economic justice, and grassroots empowerment which he claims aligns perfectly with the urgent needs of Deltans.

In a significant development, Comrade Okunoja noted a growing political awakening amongst young people in Delta North, particularly members of the Gen Z demographic, many of whom he said was embracing the AAC as their political home.

Synchronizing his assertion, the grassroot mobilizer noted that the groundswell of support was a clear signal that the future belongs to movements that prioritize transparency, inclusivity, and the equitable redistribution of opportunities.

In a massive support for the Young Ika Born Businessman, Okunoja’s advocacy gained further momentum during a strategic visit to the AAC State Party Chairman in Delta, Ambassador Maxwell Ogor and other party stalwarts.

During the meeting, he reiterated his belief that both Nigeria and Delta State were overdue for a “system reboot,” disclosing that the AAC, under the visionary leadership of Comrade Omoyele Sowore, represents the best chance of making that happen.

“The AAC’s revolutionary blueprint is not just an idea, it is a necessity,” Okojona said.

“We must rebuild our economic foundations and uphold equal rights for all Nigerians and I am committed to championing this cause alongside other patriots within the AAC.”

He concluded by paying tribute to the party’s National Chairman, Comrade Omoyele Sowore, praising his courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to rescuing Nigeria from the grip of failed leadership and endemic mismanagement.

As the political climate in Delta continues to evolve, Comrade Bob Okunoja’s bold stance is likely to stir further conversations about the future of governance, economic equity, and political integrity in the state.
