The Abavo Trumpeters, a prominent socio-political advocacy group, has officially intensified its grassroots mobilization across the Ika Nation. Leading a high-powered delegation to the Idumu Ugbo, Ekuma, and Oyoko communities, the group’s spokesperson, Uche Godwin (popularly known as Warren G), declared that the time has come for Abavo to secure its rightful place in the 2027 political landscape.

The tour, designed to foster unity and seek the blessings of community elders, serves as a formal call for rotational justice within Ika politics.

The delegation’s tour was marked by significant endorsements from local leaders and traditional custodians. In Idumu Ugbo, the team was received by Mr. Simon U.U., who led the session in prayer and offered foundational guidance for the movement’s success. At Ekuma, Okibali Uku Benjamin Okonta and Committee Chairman Evans Okoh welcomed the advocates, providing strategic counsel on navigating the complexities of the upcoming electoral cycle. In Oyoko (Osimata Kporo), elders Igheghe Augustine and Ibimaro Table reinforced the message of justice, adding their spiritual and moral weight to the advocacy for Abavo’s representation.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Mr. Uche Godwin (Warren G) emphasized that Abavo’s long-standing loyalty and electoral contributions to the Ika Nation must now be met with reciprocal political inclusion.

“Our message is simple: equity, inclusion, and fair representation,” Godwin stated. “After years of consistent support for the collective progress of Ika South and Ika North-East, the principle of rotational justice demands that Abavo produces the next member of the House of Representatives in 2027,” he added.

In a significant policy statement, the Abavo Trumpeters also clarified their stance on the broader political horizon. The group formally declared its unwavering support for a Stability and Continuity ticket, endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for a second term in Delta State, and Senator Arthur Okowa for the 2027 Senatorial seat.

Godwin noted that these endorsements are rooted in a commitment to progressive leadership and the belief that continuity is essential for the completion of ongoing development projects across the state and nation. The Abavo Trumpeters reaffirmed that their movement remains rooted in peaceful advocacy and intends to continue its tour across all communities in the Ika Nation to build a consensus based on fairness and mutual respect.
