Delta State Government has been advised to intensify job creation to support the youth population.
Eugene Azuka Uzum made the call in Abuja when he hosted a section of the media in his capacity as a youth advocate.
Uzum, a lawyer, strong advocate of your development and motivational speaker, opined that unemployment among the youth class is a recipe for anarchy.
He also advised the state government to key into the Federal Government (FG) Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) initiative for the overall socio-economic development of the state.

He said that it had become imperative for the state government to create a dedicated student loan fund and step up job creation channels by providing financial assistance to youths and youth-owned enterprises in the state.
He maintained that unemployment, poverty and festiveness among youths could be reduced when they are gainfully engaged and motivated, adding that a state with peaceful youths had already created the much needed environment for socio-economic and political development.
