Hon. Marilyn Okowa Daramola, the first female youth representative of Ika extraction at the Delta State House of Assembly, has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to improving the lives of her constituents.

This collaborative approach has enabled her to champion progressive policies that addresses critical societal issues, like the bill prohibiting discrimination of people living with disabilities and the child right amendment bill

The Bill Prohibiting Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities,apart from ensuring equal opportunities for all will put an end to any form of discrimination against persons living with disabilities.

Moreso, she has also shown strong support for the Child Rights by sponsoring the Child Right Amendment Bill, which is an affirmation of her commitment to Putting her people first, with so much emphasis on the welfare and protection of the most vulnerable.

Marilyn Okowa Daramola has undoubtedly made an indelible Mark in Human capital development.

She has empowered and supported empowerment of about 800 Ika indigenes, providing them with resources and opportunities to break free from poverty and improve their economic well-being.

As the Chairperson of the Committee of finance and appropriation, Marilyn Okowa Daramola has Proactively engaged different sectors of the State economic stimulators, while Maintaining constant communication with her constituents, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed effectively.

Her commitment to lifelong learning and adaptation has enabled her to effectively address evolving challenges and navigate the complexities of the legislative landscape.
