MADRID, SPAIN — Dr. Mercy Eguriase Sule, the Quadrant Chief and Founder/CEO of Bemys Foundation, has been nominated for the prestigious Best Global Humanitarian Award.
The international ceremony is scheduled to take place in Madrid, Spain, on May 16, 2026.
Recognizing Global Excellence, Dr. Sule is among 95 distinguished individuals selected from across the globe. This cohort represents leaders who have made significant, world-changing impacts through community service, economic stimulation, and human capital development.
Unlike many corporate accolades that focus solely on company turnover, the 2026 CEO Awards spotlight the individuals behind the success.
The program honors C-level executives—including CEOs and Managing Directors—who drive their organizations while maintaining a profound commitment to humanitarian ambassadorship.
The nomination serves as a formal recognition of Dr. Sule’s extensive work in “changing the narrative” for the vulnerable.
Her humanitarian track record includes:
Debt Redemption: Successfully intervened and paid off debts for young girls who were being used as human collateral for family settlements.
Through the Bemys Foundation, she leads the fight against early child marriage and advocates for children with sickle cell anemia.
While her work is felt globally, she remains a primary advocate for social welfare in Delta, Nigeria and Inspiring the Next Generation
This nomination is coming after her appointment last year as a Peace and Human Rights Ambassador by a notable international organization.
The organizers noted that the intention behind this honor is twofold: to provide worthy individuals with the global visibility they deserve and to use their leadership examples to inspire other business executives and philanthropists to prioritize human capacity building alongside corporate success.
For Dr. Sule, this award is more than a trophy; it is a motivational milestone intended to further spur her efforts as a dedicated agent of global humanitarian change.
