When Jihaddists, murderers and terrorists who should be in jail or killed are absorbed into a country’s functioning Military and renamed repentant bandits, sooner than you think, the defense architecture is fractured and the system is polluted.
Recent security issues have clearly justified the assertion of General TY Danjuma in one of his speech where he said the military is no longer neutral in the fight against terror in Nigeria.The implication of that statement is that the military is complicit because there already moles selling out while in military regalia.
The Leopard does not change its colour, so expecting these criminal elements not to betray those who inducted them into the system will remain a wishful thinking. Research has revealed that they will always sabotage any effort to expose them and their sponsors. These terrorists in the Nigerian Military are the ones leaking classified military information and intelligence reports to the terrorists, who then use the information to ambush and kill not just soldiers but top military officers from time to time.
