AGBOR, Delta State – The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Barr. Chiedu Ebie, has extended an Easter package to members of the Delta Unity Group (DUG) across Ika South and Ika Northeast Local Government Areas, as well as key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the two council areas.

The gesture, which comprised bags of rice and cash tokens, was aimed at supporting members during the Easter season and fostering a sense of shared purpose within the party and the broader Delta Unity Group.

During the distribution, prominent DUG stakeholders—including Mr. Davieson Okafor, Hon. Fred Ofume, and Mrs. Ogor Obuh took turns to commend Chief Ebie for his thoughtfulness and consistent engagement with grassroots members. They described the package as timely and encouraging, particularly in the face of prevailing economic challenges.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the stakeholders urged all members to remain steadfast and unwavering in their support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu. They reaffirmed that the president’s policies, though demanding in the short term, are designed to bring long term prosperity and equity to all Nigerians, including the people of Delta State.

The event concluded with prayers for the NDDC chairman, the President, and continued peace and development in the Niger Delta region.
