ETHIOPE EAST – The political landscape of Ethiope East is witnessing an early tremor as rumors of Chief Dr. Mrs. Mercy Eguriase Sule’s entry into the 2027 House of Assembly race reportedly leave the incumbent, Barr. Arthur Akpowowo, in a state of unease.
Despite no official declaration yet, the momentum building around Sule—a high-profile humanitarian and diaspora-based leader—has caused visible “Panic” within the Akpowowo camp.
Insiders within the incumbent’s political circle have privately admitted that Chief Dr Mercy Eguriase Sule presents a formidable challenge.
