The recent physical altercation between social media personality ‘VeryDarkMan’ and Mr. Jollof aboard an aircraft has sparked significant public reaction in Nigeria, with many citizens demanding action from aviation authorities.
The incident, which took place today on a flight, has led to widespread calls among Nigerians for ‘VeryDarkMan’ to be barred from flying both local and international routes.
Notably, groups, including the platform DELTA DECIDES, are publicly advocating for a travel ban.
Sources indicate that the confrontation was the latest development in a long-standing feud between the two individuals.
Mr. Jelof is identified as a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
According to facts gathered by our correspondents, ‘VeryDarkMan’ reportedly initiated the immediate threat, stating he intended to physically assault Mr. Jelof by slapping him.
There are rising expectations that airport and aviation authorities will impose sanctions, particularly a travelling ban, on ‘VeryDarkMan’.
Many Nigerians argue that, given the controversial influencer’s public profile, failure to penalize such disruptive behavior would pose a threat to the integrity and safety of the country’s aviation institutions.
