Mr. Darlington Okonma, a Delta-born journalist and Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ika Chapel, has vehemently criticized Mr. Peter Obi’s recent alignment with the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC), describing it as “wickedness of the highest order.”

Speaking with pressmen, Okonma asserted that Obi’s move demonstrates a lack of clear conviction regarding the political platform that propelled him in the last presidential election.

He highlighted the massive support Obi received from Labour Party members during the previous election, arguing that Obi should have remained with the party to bolster its political strength.

Okonma further opined that Obi should now be prepared to serve the northern elites who, he believes, suggested the coalition for “enigmatic motives.”

“I am obviously disappointed at Mr. Peter Obi because this ADA alignment is an indication of his greedy tendencies,” Okonma added.
