I BUILT MY EMPIRE THROUGH HARD WORK NOT RITUAL ~ Kanayo O Kanayo

  •  For the umpteenth time, veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo Onyekwere Kanayo; have warned Nigerian youths who are engrossed in the get rich quick syndrome, that making money through rituals and other diabolic means could only lead to a dead end; as nothing good comes out of this.

He said that most youths who are captivated and enthralled by what they watch in movies fail to understand that movies are just make believe, and in reality, there is no connection between human sacrifice and wealth. Adding that only hard work can guarantee ones wealth and peace of mind

The Nollywood actor is known for his infamous roles of acting as rituals in movies.

Kanayo revealed this during an online Town Hall Meeting, powered by an online news platform which is held every month.

Speaking on the topic, “Rituals, Riches, and Realities: The Myths of Money-Making and the Dignity of Labour,” the veteran actor, advised youths to better indulge in hard work.

According to him, “These people (youths) have raised their ante and it is no longer about what they watch (movies). There is no truth to the fact that a man living in a thatched house will ask you to kill your girlfriend and sleep with her to make money.

“The Yahoo (scam) we knew many years ago, was writing letters and promising deals that were utopian. We know many people who are in public office today who were part of it. I will not want to mention names.

“But today, people are told that, the in-thing is Yahoo Promax, which involves killing someone, eating the heart of the person and washing it down with Hennessy, and the belief that you will make money once it’s done. I can’t see any connection between that and making money. Money is made through hard work.”

“I laid the foundation of my house in 2015, and in 2016, Globacom, owned by Mike Adenuga, signed me as one of those to be a part of a nationwide campaign it was holding.

“The money was huge. It involved performances in many cities, but sometimes they count 10 cities and pay us upfront, even before we start visiting those cities.

“So, I made a lot of money and built my house. I can say, I made a sacrifice to build that house because, at that time, I had the option of buying a brand new 2015 Range Rover. If I had bought it, today, I would have been seen as someone who was driving an old Range Rover.

“So, the sacrifice I made was that I left the Range Rover and completed my house. That was the sacrifice I made.”

NIGERIAN DOCTOR DISCOVERS VISION RESTORATION FORMULA FOR ANY AGE

A Nigerian Doctor, Mr. Abiola Saraki, has discovered a new form of vision restoration that can be used for all ages. Mr. Abiola Saraki has proposed the use of a unique formulation for the restoration of vision that allows the prevention of complete blindness.

Abiola proposed the brilliant idea implemented by some of the best medical researchers in the country. Includes experts from the College of Ophthalmology and other medical research facilities in the development of medicine. So far, the new drug product is showing great results.

He noted during an interview that they will try to find out how it can save millions of lives and how Nigerianscan get it at a BIG discount.

Dr. Abiola stated that though he was one of the best medical students during his time at school but was inspired in his discovery when his grandmother began to experience continued vision deterioration which. Glasses and contact lenses could not help her

“My grandmother’s eyesight continues to fail. She was scheduled to have eye surgery, but a week before her surgery, it appeared that his deteriorating vision was caused by a poor blood supply to the lens and fundus, so the operation was discontinued.*

“Because of this condition, my grandmother completely lost eyesight. Then, I started studying issues related to vision disorders. I was surprised to realize that most drugs sold in pharmacies are unhelpful and harmful. In fact, these drugs only aggravate the condition. My mom uses them every day.”

He emphasized that it was when he was writing his thesis that he discovered the new method of vision treatment that everyone was talking about, claiming he knew the idea was new.

“But I did not think it would cause so much interest in the medical and business community.”

“Once the article about my method was published, I immediately started getting offers from investors who wanted to buy my idea. First, I was approached by a French company that offered me 120,000 euros. The last who approached me was an American company managing pharmacies.”

“They want to buy my idea for $35 million. I changed my phone number and avoided social media, as I received so many offers in every way just to talk to me every day.”

When asked if he sold the idea out, he said” I didn’t do this to make some rich people living abroad even richer. If I sell it to them, they will patent the formula and ban others from making this drug. Then they raise the price. I may be young but I am not stupid. In this situation, ordinary people just can’t afford it. One of the foreign doctors told me that this formula should cost at least SGD 300,000. This is unreasonable. Who can buy this for three hundred thousand SGD?”

  • “So when I received a proposal from a research expert to develop a treatment for the local market, I readily agreed. I worked with the College of Ophthalmology. It was a wonderful experience. Now, the clinical trials are over and everyone can buy the treatment.” He
